It's got to be some sort of fasciation hasn't it scarecrow? Are the whole plants like that or just odd stems. Interesting there's lots on fasciation when you google it but nothing on fasciation in hellebores. |

Have they got aphids on them scarecrow? There is a particular virus transmitted to hellebores from certain aphids. Alternatively did your garden get extremely waterlogged over winter? Drainage could perhaps be a problem. |
