I am very happy for her - wish she (they) could have had things a little more private but then they knew that would never be..
Was watching the monitor from The Sun yesterday - gawd the cops looked bored stiff and they must have been so hot...just clicked on now and there they are in shirtsleeves (5.31am here and 20degC already) looking even more fed up!!
I suppose she will go home soon....
Name ? - No idea - George, Louis, Phillip ??

Hmmm...he'll have several, won't he. Her father is 'Michael' so that might be one of them, along with traditional royal names. Charles as one of them?

OH is going for Louis - will they use a name that has been used for French kings as a first name though?

I'm delighted for them, he was a good weight too despite her having next to no bump. The boys are thinking James or Edward for a name, Alexander or Julian have all been mentioned here this morning.

Well, it's never too early to learn the 'royal wave', Jasmine, is it?

I saw a comment on the interweb that said they won't name him James because why would they name him after Harry's dad !!!! Made me laugh. I thought Catherine looked fabulous. Certainly better than I did a day after having a child !! Bless him I saw him wave. Ha ha cheered almost everyone up hasn't it. Marvellous event.

Yes we all sat and watched him give his first royal wave, so sweet. We all toasted him with something sparkling from M&S, special edition called Baby Royal, there was a little ticket on it that said congratulations to William and Kate on the birth of their baby boy.

We had a little poll at school and James had been the favourite...that didn't figure at all! He's got a nice little mix of names. I know 2 little chappies in Reception who will be thrilled to bits to be sharing a name with the baby prince - they were talking about it this morning on the way to assembly!

I said George all along, but it's a bit boring. I would have preferred Richard ( another Pointless fan ) It's a Kingly name, never truly out of fashion, not outlandish ........ and doesn't remind me of the Chancellor of the Exchequer
