This plant is growing in an overgrown garden up the road. At first i thought it could be a phlox but now im coming round to it possibly being some kind of Saponaria. It's about 2-3 feet tall, light pink clusters of flowers, quite woody, slightly scented and seems to spread quite a bit. Flowers july into August. Any suggestions ?

Saponaria for me as well andy - all in flower here. I used to have it in the garden, looks good but wanders about far too much!! RF
