Opposite to me there's a disused factory. Between the 2 main buildings there must be some kind of walkway. Growing up between the 2 of them are these trees. The birds love to sit over there, it seems to be full of berries at the moment. During the winter the branches are bare. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Jenny took this pic with her camera, the trees are above the roofline of the 1st building and almost up to the top of the 2nd.

I thought Elder, the birds love the berries. You don't want them flying over your washing line after feeding on the berries though, the poo is the same colour as the berries You can use the flowers to make Elderflower cordial and the berries to make Elderberry wine. The cordial is lovely but I've never tried the wine.

Thanks very much Rosefriend Chuckles, no wonder the birds love it. Unfortunately there's no human access to it, is'nt it wonderful that it will grow there without anyone having to feed or water it.
