Anyone partake in growing a few bits for the show benches ? My allotments will always be for food production but i do fancy having a go at growing a few bits for exhibition. Had a look at a few websites and im going to have a go with Parsnips, carrots, leeks, beetroot, onions and runner beans. My mate did some showing last year and he got 13 placed out of 20 entered including 5 first place. So im after his crown....little does he know that im doing it. he's been giving me lots of tips all summer, not knowing im going to So ive got some seeds already, just need a few more tips.
