Oh well - if I were a betting person I might have been in with a chance. Perhaps the public warmed to the 'entertainment' value

I think they must have Tig for him not to even be in the bottom 3. I think he was as surprised as Jenny and I were. It was a really good show, interesting that nerves almost got the better of some people. I'd have thought David would stay a while longer but it's very difficult to call. Suzanne was great, lovely to watch as well as being a very good skater. I remember liking her last time as well.

I really enjoyed it last night, gosh but Ray and Maria were smashing. A real joy to watch. I think it was fair enough Todd went home.

I remember thinking when Ray won his year that he really could go professional, he is great to watch. Glad Todd has gone home, I couldn't watch his skate off, I just thought I'd seen that too many times.

Glad Karen gave Jason as good as he gave last night! It's not so long ago she would have gone all wobbly.

It was a real shame last night that Zaraah and Kyran were in the dance off. Having said that, Zaraah has been in the bottom 2 before and I think she just does'nt have the public support that's needed.
I was'nt impressed with Bonnie's waltz, not much waltz content in itand they looked awkward when you compare how much bhangra content Sam had in his dance. I loved the whole Scotish feel of Beth's dance. I was'nt surprised at Ray getting 4x10's but I'd have given him 9 or 9.5.
Did anyone else watch it?

It's Duel week tonight.
Gareth is up against Bonnie. Suzanne is up against Ray, Sam is up against Kyran. Beth is up against Hayley.
2 couples dance on the ice at the same time. The judges put one couple out of each set of dances straight through to next week. The remaining 4 couples dance again and we vote to save our favourite. As far as I know the couple with the lowest number of votes goes home, no dance off.

I enjoyed the duels. As usual Ray stole the show for me, but Suzanne did give him a good run for his money. I thought Hayley really outshone Beth in hers (there was never really a contest there for me, even though Beth has really come on in her skating, she couldn't out-dance Hayley who was much slicker and more convincing, though she also seemed to have a better choreographed section). Gareth really upped his game (as they say!). In general I thought it was quite hard to choose between them!

I enjoyed it all last night as well, having some of them do 3 dances made it very interesting. I did'nt realise there was going to be a dance off, I thought it was just the couple with the lowest number of votes would be the ones to leave. I think it was the right decision to let Bonnie go home 'tho, Sam did a much better dance off. Ray was just brilliant I thought, he brings such enthusiasm and he really can dance on the ice. It was a good show.

Sunday night was a bit disappointing, I thought some of the routines were a bit samey as were the lifts. I don't think they're giving Beth good routines at all and thought her gymnastics would have been better confined to the start of the dance. I don't think Sam and his partner come across as close at all but their save me dance was really good. Gareth has improved a lot and at least he went out on a high. Ray was great as always. I see that so far Ray, Gareth Hayley Jo and Kyran are all confirmed for the final tour. Interesting to see that the 3 judges for the tour are Karen, Nicky and Robin. www.dancingonicetour.co.uk/blog/index.php
