As I like to have something to look forward to I thought I'd post a few links - it is early in the year and not all details are finalised yet, but with luck the sites will update as the year progresses

Last year I went to a garden show at Woburn with a friend and we stayed over in a cheapy B&B and did Woburn Safari park the following day. We've put these two shows down as possibles to visit this year

It's held in the Bishop's garden, so it's a lovely location.

I haven't told you my dates for opening this year - just in case anyone's on holiday in Somerset in June! It's Thursday 5th and Thursday 12th June, in the afternoon. Next year I think I might open by appointment in May and June, to groups. I reckon it'll be less stressful. We have a group booked for July this year.

Jenny has gotten tickets for Bloom which is Irelands largest gardening food and family event for next friday. Happy days, I'm so excited to be going. Irish TV has been having a competition between 6 garden designers to see which one of them wins a spot at the event. We've been following it and look forward to seeing the winning garden for real.

Thanks Auricula. I see that the RHS are following the Ireland Bloom type competition for next year. What an opportunity for someone, it'll be televised as well, should be interesting..

Seriously Tig Lamorran is 40 miles away, it's often open and I've been, Liskeard is 50 miles away, been to Parc-Lamp...............but.................................the gardens of Tresillian are a definite possibility, even though it is 30.9 miles away

as there doesn't seem to be anything nearer. I'll pop it in my diary

No, we tried opening for the Festival Weekend last year and had so few visitors it wasn't worth it. The forecast is dire for Saturday, so I'm glad we're not open.
