A lot of us use Haylofts as they supply bigger and stronger plug plants than many of the other online suppliers. In the past quite a few have used T & M, however over the years we have had one or two glitches (to put it mildly) you will see some of the issues if you read through the T & M thread gardenworld.proboards.com/thread/10519/Some use Crocus, the plants are usually good quality and well packed but I find them a bit expensive and there p & p is dear too.

I like Beeches Nursery in Essex - they have a very good range of plants at good prices. Cgf is also good. I sometimes use Larches Nursery, but they're rather expensive. The plants are top-quality, though. Have a google of those and you'll see. Beth Chatto also has a good range of rather unusual plants.
A lot of us go to our local Wyevale (Garden Group) but on the whole they tend to be quite expensive, although you can find bargains. You can order plants on line and pick them up.

I've only ever bought plants online from Crocus www.crocus.co.uk/special-offers/ wendya. Always had good plants from them, not cheap but where is these days although I like there offers for a reasonable bargain :0

The plants i bought the other day were off an e bay seller a nursery in Cumbria, they seem ok but were packed rather tightly compared to ones i have bought off shopping Tv channel, but lets see how they go they were only small plugs but with very big routes so presume a year old. But no instructions whatsoever, but then maybe they are all like this? i would have thought it would have said a little about how to keep etc on the honeysuckle and pyracanthas, but no. But maybe all are like this, even the Grownmore(pellets) i bought had not instruction at all on the packet which i find bad as had to go and look up carefully, as never used fertilizers so i didn't know.

Just had a look at the Plant me Now site ... the prices aren't bad, not sure what they charge for p & p as I didn't get that far Looks like a fairly new venture, read a couple of online reviews which said they received the plants OK. Might wait for someone else to order and make a comment. Quite often plants come with no instructions, although I would again say that Haylofts tend to provide a good amount of planting and growing on information, and T & M are very good in this respect too. There is loads of online information to help though Wendy

You can always ask on here too wendya, there aren't many things at least someone one will have had experience of. I use Sarah Raven quite a lot (great for bulbs & seeds, not quite so good for perennials imho) & Avon Bulbs, both quite pricy though. If you're buying for the communal planters that you've taken over you probably want to keep the cost down. If you're near a Homebase or B&Q it's always worth visiting regularly & keeping an eye out for when they reduce things (which they do a lot because they don't take very good care of them ). You can get some great bargains, that only need a bit of tlc to get them going & you will see from the confessions thread that some of us are addicted to rescuing plants whether we need them or not

Yes Jilly most are for the communal garden so don't want to spend too much. But i will keep that in mind as B&Q near here, do not look after their plants here either Thanks Tig for looking at the site Plant me now, may try a few when its time.
