Now my vice is woody plants that stay (or are encouraged to stay) small. Long ago in a garden-web universe I saw a photo spread of his mini-rose. (Ti, Mi, and Si)
These mini's were ankles and knees better than any others I have ever seen. Now I doubt that it would be possible to ship live plants between the EU and USA, but seeds might be possible. I'm open to any legal means to get my claws into some (of old Pedro's mini-rose seeds).

I have only heard of Pedro Dots Rose "Si" - didn't know there were "Ti" and "Mi" ...if my memory serves me right they were incredibly small, weren't they?? I haven't a clue if seeds can be found, or even from where, but one thing I do know is that if you do get some seeds from "Si" for example, and sow them, you will not get another "Si" rose. You may get some wonderful plants, same colour, varying sizes and some that you want to keep, even a winner amongst them, but you will never get a true copy of any rose from seed as they never come true... Be interesting to try though coppice!! RF

Its been long enough ago, that I do not recall who was which. But Ti, Si, and Mi were a red, white, and yellow, rose. I'd be willing to go through the segregation phase (oh say six or seven generations). to get as small as I could muster. I have plenty of willing growers who would not turn their nose up at bigger examples. But yes, they were the mini-est of mini-rose. I do grow and send off to N4Sers seed and babies from rosa rugosa collected from seed years ago out on Cape Cod (MA). Postscript:My move here makes growing mini's here, to field much more do-able than when I lived in NH. The yeti and moose kept eating them.

Hahahaha - last thing that you need is the Yeti and Moose eating your harvest!! After a quick look on Google I see nowhere that is offering seeds but will look here in Germany - I saw a link to Spain that I will check out... RF
