Well, after yesterday's trip out, I was both annoyed and scared at the awful driving I encountered...so here are a few of the bad habits I saw...what makes you cringe?
1. No signalling at junctions or on roundabouts. I am not a mind-reader! 2. People who don't dip their headlights and dazzle oncoming traffic. 3. Tail gaters! Scary or what? Supposing I'd had to stop suddenly? 4. People who overtake on blind bends...and come straight at you! 5. People on their mobiles at the wheel. 6. Very loud 'music' with the windows down. Not everybody likes your choice, you know! 7. Overtaking on double white lines - they are there for a reason. 8. Not slowing down for horse riders. Dangerous! 9. 'Jumping' the traffic lights.

I have often cursed not having a driving license but to be honest I wouldn't want one these days....it is madness at times...
OH doesn't like driving at all, never has, - tell a lie - he used to love driving in the UK in a German car on the wrong side of the road (for him) but not in his own country!! Nowadays we only drive locally or in the next villages, small towns - a few weeks ago someone was coming towards us on the wrong side of the road..only in the last minute when OH hit the horn did he obviously realise that he was on the wrong side of the road!!

I blow my horn at people on Mobile phones while they are driving, I was forced off the road a couple of years ago by a man in a white van who suddenly decided he wanted the next junction we were approaching, I was shaking for about an hour afterwards, it's not the pleasure it used to be, my Dad told me when I was learning to drive ''always assume the other driver is an idiot '' it has stood me in good stead over the years.

Barbara, what a sensible thought for all drivers! I must remember that. It took all day yesterday to recover from my dreadful trip out. No wonder I prefer the quiet route.
