Some little blossom on the Prunis Incisa Paean, this it's 1st year in my garden and I'm looking forward to seeing the whole bush in bloom. This Hyacinth is one of a few that were retrieved from the compost bin a year or two ago. It's by the front door and the scent is lovely, I'm glad I saved it . These little Viola have been keeping this pot of spring bulbs interesting since last autumn and now they're flowering their socks off.

Ladygardener, the prunus is beautiful, I can't believe you have it flowering already. It's obviously very happy in your garden. No sign of mine blooming yet, although it's a different type. owdboggy, the Chionodoxa are a lovely contrast to the stones that surround it, very nice. The corydalis is flowering beautifully, around here there's not much colour apart from yellow (daffs)

This clump of wild Primroses has been in flower since about January in the shelter of some shrubs in the front garden. I noticed the other day that the wild primroses that Jasmine sent me a couple of years ago are also coming through again...I do love them..

They're just beautiful Jilly. Nowadays children are'nt allowed to go off on their own and explore hills and places where the wild Primroses grow and even if they did, they'd be unlikely to find them as easily as I did as a child. They always make me smile.

I know Ladygardener, when I was a child the woods around my Mum's were full of Primroses & Bluebells & nobody thought anything of picking them either, as there were so many. Off course it's all been built on now.

Not sure where the best place for this photo is, but I saw this butterfly in the daff earlier today and had to take a pic of it.

Well caught theinsidegardener I've not seen any yet. You're always warmer down there. I'm sure Tig would know which one it is. I love how the sunshine is coming through the petals of the daff. Changed to a POTM2 - POTM1 has be made on the Butterfly thread - RF

It isn't quite clear enough for me to identify LG - the shape is more moth-like than butterfly.

A few hellebores from this years performers.... "Just a few" she says. They're all smashing Tig and all are winners but I like this pic of them all growing best. There are so many blooms on this plant.
