Well done on capturing the colour so well owdboggy, Katherine Hodgkinson is one of my special spring treats & I always make sure that I get a few more every year, but I can never capture them properly in a photo.
When Jenny was at Burtown House burtownhouse.ie/ a few weeks ago she bought me some lovely little Iris. These are Clairette, they're such a pale blue with an unknown white one as well. She bought me some George as well. I can easily see how some people become addicted to buying them. They're so varied and exquisite.
Some mixed daffs growing at the bottom of the garden.
I grew this Fuschia from either a cutting or a tiny plug last year and overwintered it out back.
Dutchy I have a perspex roof over the back yard and the boiler for the oil is out there too so it would rarely go below 10c and is often over 20c. Jenny got it redone for me a few years back and it's smashing, almost like a greenhouse apart from only having light from above.
Thanks very much for the nom Rosefriend. I'm glad you like them. I've become a real fan of the little Iris.
Iris Sheila Ann Germany, which is a new one for me this year.
It's bred from Katherine Hodginson & it's a bit difficult to see from a photo, but they are sort of bluer than KH & it's actually easier to see with the 2 pics below each other there's less yellow in the markings.
Another Hellebore from the Hayloft collection, the label is long gone, but I think it's double pink picotee.
