Any good sites? I've used eBay in the past but cheap plants are very small. Cheers Steve

What are you looking to buy, Steve ? I've bought bedding plant seedlings from Jersey plants direct and they've been ok, i've also bought stuff from ebay and they've been fine. Have a look through this thread gardenworld.proboards.com/thread/10519/

I find Crocus very good, stevemc, and I use several others, including Burncoose (expensive but really good plants), Beeches Nursery in Saffron Walden because of their huge range, and CgF because Bob Brown is such an expert. Beth Chatto has some unusual plants, too. It really depends what you're looking for.
As Andy said, we had quite a discussion on that thread! Good luck with your on-line shopping.

I'm trying to fill the garden with shrubs and perennials as cheap as poss lol and give it some shape and colour. This is only my second year here. The garden was a rectangular lawn with a straight path, a few mature shrubs around the sides with a bit of a weed site at the bottom. I'm currently on EBay looking at Stephen Roffs page. (I'm not naming names):-)

He's brilliant stevemc and if you are local to him just contact him and ask to collect any plants you want. Have you ever been to his nursery, you wouldn't stop if you were passing as it doesn't hardly look open but it is such a treasure trove of lovely stuff if you do go in!
