Just received 6 seeds in the post :-) Anyone grown them before? Any tips?

I have had seeds and tried them several times, without success. From what I researched at the time they can take up to 120 days to germinate and prefer some temperature fluctuation rather than just heat. On my second attempt I nicked the seeds with a file, but I still didn't get anywhere. Good luck Steve - I hope you get some to grow

If you have a heat mat, i'd stick them on the hottest part during the day then take them off at night to cool them down.

I've grown a banana from seed, but it was a weedy specimen compared to the ones I grew from small plants.
