Are there any annuals that will grow well in 6" (15cm) pots? I've tried to google it but without much success.

I would of thought most would be ok Ron, its just a matter of keeping them watered well.

Thanks, Chuckles, I've got a dozen which are doing nothing, so just wondered how I might use them. Have found a bit of info online. Seems they go by flower height, an inch of growth per inch of pot diameter. Anything more vigorous, the roots would displace the compost. Think I'll take a look at alpines.

I've plumped for saxifrage. The cushion forming varieties.
