In one word? Yuk! I don't like the current fad for stubble, Ladygardener. I was looking through the Land's End catalogue yesterday and all the male models had not shaved...it must be the 'in thing'. OH always says he feels uncomfortable if he hasn't shaved.
I don't blame you for missing the chair thing - I still think it's cruel and the viewing figures went down, so other people must agree.

I'm not keen at all on that stubbly look, not everyone can carry it off and while I don't mind people looking a bit scruffy, some folk just look like they've not seen the inside of a bathroom for weeks!

Well, Ladygardener, what did you think of the first live show? I liked the 17 year old girl and the Philippino group. I thought Keira was disappointing, but the weird one was very good, wasn't he.

So now we know - two evictions and Bupsi (sp) wasn't exactly a surprise, was she, Ladygardener. I am disappointed in Keira. She isn't coming up to my first expectations at all and I think she might be the next one out. Why doesn't Bupsi have a surname?

What did you think about the latest evictions, Ladygardener? I was not surprised about Keira, but the 'weird one' was a shock. I thought he had a great voice. Maybe he was just a bit too much to take?

I think people just did'nt bother voting Geranium. Not surprising really, with all the talk over the years about fixed votes etc. Seann Miley Moore has a good voice and puts on a good show. I don't think he was hard to take at all. We've seen all sorts of prerformers in x factor in the past, some of them got really far and could'nt hold a note.

You are absolutely right, Ladygardener. Remember Wagner? I reckon two of this year's contestants stand out - Che and the 17 yr old. What do you think?

Is that the girl with the long blonde hair Geranium? Yes Che is good but I don't have any favourite this year. For me it has lost it's sparkle. There is a lot of speculation that next year will be the last x factor as that's when the current contract runs out with ITV. What do you think. Also, the BBC has lost The Voice which I do really enjoy and think is so much better than x factor. Perhaps ITV will buy The Voice and not renew the contract for x factor.

I agree, Ladygardener, - it is looking 'tired' and I suspect that Simon will either scrap the whole thing or do a complete revamp next year. The audience numbers have apparently dropped to around 7 million from 12.

Yes and I think The Voice is much better anyhow now. Do you watch it?

There's a new series starting soon Geranium, it's worth a go.

Hmmm...maybe, Ladygardener, I'll see. Our TV went crazy last night and tried to be analogue. It was a bloomin' nuisance in the middle of the X factor!

Well, Ladygardener, so it's Reggie and Bolley and Louisa in the final tonight - what a contrast of styles! Their tracks will be so utterly different. I think it's a shame that Che is out, but I bet he gets a contract.

Geranium, Ladygardener, The pressure was telling on Che last night I thought, nerves held him back, not one of his best performances but I'm sure he'll have a future. Didn't think Leona Lewis was that good either. Louisa has some lungs on her and will certainly have a future. Final tonight then looking forward to hearing Adelle.

Geranium, Chuckles it should be a good final results programme. I thought Che showed his nerves last night but Louisa can fair sing. I think they will do well.

Well, now we know, Ladygardener,Chuckles. Reggie & Bollie's final effort was a dire disaster, wasn't it - one of them sang flat and can you imagine Joe Public wanting to buy the disc? It just wasn't their style. I can't imagine a 'rap version' of Bob Dylan, can you? I enjoyed Louisa's performance, though, and I think she's a worthy winner.
I hope it's not the end for Che - he has a great voice. Maybe Simon will give him a contract?

They all get to go on tour anyhow so you never know what opportunities they may have. I agree, Louisa is a very worthy winner. I loved Cheryl's dress last night.

I was expecting that Geranium. I would'nt be surprised if Che does as well. In any case, they'll all get work out of it.
