Followed me round the garden and climbed every tree she could.

Hasn't she grown into a lovely cat owdboggy, Looking maybe, but natured? Not really. She refuses to be house trained and attacks the other cats whenever she sees them, inside or out. We have had to turn her into an outdoor cat for the sake of their sanity and the carpets. She very willingly, I must say, goes out at night and since she is dry in a morning, obviously sleeps in the Workshed. She must be hunting too as she often is not hungry in a morning. Doing a good job of keeping the vermin away from the apples in the Workshed though.

Jemma is such a soft name for such a warrior cat, she looks defiant, strong and beautiful, if still slightly wild. I am convinced that cats manipulate their humans so she has probably got the life she wants, and at least the other cats have a bit of peace from her antics.

Seems like Jemma very carefully picked out her new owners when she found you owdboggy, being an outdoor cat but still in the safety of your huge garden sounds like a wonderful life for her. I'm convinced that some cats are born to be outdoor cats & you can't ever change them, it's just that the lucky ones get to have the best of both worlds.

owdboggy, I agree, she has grown into such a beautiful cat, she did indeed pick the right owner when she picked you. I think she has the very best of all worlds, a lovely cosy shed to sleep in, food from you when she wants it and she gets to hunt as well. She looks right at home there in that tree.

We had family over at various times this Christmas. Jemma refused point blank to come in even for food. Bill and Ben spent many happy hours being stroked and fussed over. She would not even come in after the visitors had left. We had to carry her in so that she could at least have some food. Not at all happy with strangers.

The cat that adopted us is just the same owdboggy, she can be fast asleep on her cushion but the moment she hears a strange voice she is off like a rocket and will stay out until quite a while after the visitors have gone. After 10 years with us she has finally got used to our daughter, however she still has major problems with all male visitors.

I think she is fantastic - a real Maverick...I am so pleased you found her and kept her owdboggy, - even if she has caused you some headaches along the way !!

Well she was nearly a three legged cat before. She insisted on putting her paw right where I was trying to cut back the Hellebores and those secateurs are SHARP! (Found that out the hard way when I tried to prune the end of my finger off).
