Anyone been before. Just booked an "any day" ticket for June. Any good ? Any preference to what day's are better ?
If anyone fancies meeting up there, it would be fab to meet some of you

I'd love to go but working full time is rubbish! The RHS were asking for volunteers to run their marketing stall at the major shows - I'd love to do that too..... Can hear my Head as I type

I remember someone used to go because you can take a plant can't you ...and swop if for another...and they did that and got asked to talk about it on camera

I think it was Cheerypeabrain who got on telly with her plant swap at one of these, but a few years back. I don't cope well with crowds so although I would love to meet up Andy it would be a daunting prospect to attend one of these 'events', I will look out for you on the TV coverage though and wave at the telly

Only just caught sight of this thread. andy, I have been a couple of times as a birthday treat and, although it is a way to get to and a very long day I have thoroughly enjoyed it both times I have been. In my opinion it is a very good value for money day out and well worth it. On both occasions I have managed to be well behaved enough not to use the plant crèche! Sadly I don't think I will be going along this year, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I think when I have been before it has usually been on the Saturday. I don't think it matters which day you go unless you want to go to a particular person's talk. I will be interested to hear what you make of it.

Off to Birmingham today. Get there for the footy hopefully, few beers and dinner in the Premier Inn we're staying at and then GW live tomorrow (Friday).
Our ticket also allows entry to BBC good food summer which is also going on in the NEC.
Hopefully be home Saturday with a car full of plants

Well, what a super show. Spent a bloody fortune but well worth it. Had a nice chat with Jim Buttress, who I keep bumping into and he interviewed Carol Kline....which was super.
Will certainly go again, loved the floral marquee and managed to spend an hour walking round the good food section too.
Back to reality now,
