With the mercury hitting the mid 20's today, I've dusted off the old faithful barbeque for the first time today.
There's always a huge debate whether you have gas or charcoal. I've tried both and I love both....but I have gas at the moment as it's very quick and controllable.
I usually have lots on the go....burgers (decent ones, not the rubbish frozen things), a couple of racks of marinated ribs, Pork belly slices dusted in Chinese 5 spice, chicken thighs marinated in Jack Daniels glaze, plus lots of different salad, coleslaw, new potatoes, and corn on the cob.
All washed down with copious amounts of ice cold Cobra.
Got any good tips for barbies?....marinades, methods etc etc |

We had our second bbq of the year today.......unfortunately it turned cold and rainy so we ate it in the summerhouse  |

andy, Auricula, used to have some lovely bbq's but haven't had one for years now 5/6 or even longer  We've got a huge gas one too, with coals area, griddle and side dish thing.

We had a great Weber grill but I have sold it and will use the little football sized grill that we also have - wonder if I shall ever do it, just for me...bit of a pfaff just for one person, isn't it !!

I never bother now just for me I go to my Daughters or Sons for BBQs
mind you there is a man on his own down the road here that only ever cooks on his BBQ in the summer, says it is easier than cooking indoors ....

We have lots of barbies cos OH cooks them  ( I hate cooking ) We only have simple fare...corn on the cob, veggies, burgers and sausages ....and wine!!! |
