Information off the net says to take tip cuttings - then I'm lost because I can't find specifics
Like do I nip off the growing tip, or how long of a cutting to take etc. Any information gratefully received as I'm not usually a lover of pink (ducks and hides) but this Gaura is so vibrant I'd like to have more in my garden
Thanks

If I remember rightly andy did one of his great drawings on how to do this....erm can't find it though...just tagged him!!

Basically, treat them like a Fuchsia...softwood or semi ripe tip cuttings from spring to autumn.
I grew them from seed this year. Got the seeds from T&M and they came up really well. Flowering well at the moment despite only being sowed in Feb.

Thanks both.
I think I'll get some seed for different colours as well as attempting cuttings . Such an attractive plant.

Thanks RF. I've got that bookmarked. My trouble is I can't work out where to take the cutting from. So I've just attempted bits from different places ... mind you I've got no hope when I can't even get the title of the thread right

Either my head or my eyes are going. I could have sworn the 'T' was missing from propagating.
A cutting of a gaura would be a great help RF
