I know these have been around for a while but this particular one has some particularly useful features. The cells are 5" deep which it seems is ideal for sweet peas and they open up for transplanting so you don't have to dig the plant out and disturb its roots. I have 4 packets of sweet pea seeds (about 10 seeds in each) so I'm hoping for some decent plants in the spring.

They are like mine Ron,- had them ages and use them always for sweetpeas and beans etc...mine open up as well - great - you hardly disturb the roots... I have 4 loads of them... I actually got mine from Scotland - think it was through T & M - can't remember, it was years ago now...

I used to use this type of trainer for the likes of sweatpeas etc, such a brilliant idea and they kept everything nice a tidy in the holding rack. I particulary liked them for doing cuttings, you could have a sneaky look at progress without disturbing the plants to much A good investment and if you look after them they last for years, but be warned there are some cheap and nasty ones out there

Just need to get the greenhouse sorted now. I started preparing the ground yesterday, be doing little and often as has been usual lately.
