Good question stevemc, - I have two Polycarbonate GH's, and used to have a glass GH which was very good, even if there needs to be some shading in the summer. I know of 4 people with PT's and they are very happy - one is now coming into the years and has started to split. There is special tape but it's not cheap and once a rip is in.....he is also wondering what to do - get a new one or a glass GH - the PT lasted 15 years though without any problems.!!
