In Ireland a policeman was sat watching traffic and noticed a Land Rover pulling a horsebox flying past at 80mph.
I'm not having that, he thought and gave chase and pulled the Land Rover over.
"Oh it's you Ronan", he says on recognising the driver, "You were going a wee bit fast there"
"Not at all Sergeant" replies Ronan, "I'm getting the horse used to speed before the race"
Inspecting the horse box the policeman turns and says," Do you think you think I'm stupid Ronan ? There's no horse in here "
" Of course I don't", says Ronan, "But surely you've heard of Non Runners ..."
