My desk top is a photo i took while on holiday in Exmoor, this is at a little vilage called Withypool,it was a beautiful warm spring day,and all that could be heard, apart from the odd car passing over the bridge, was the trickeling of the water, tranquilty.

those pictures are all lovely but how did you all get your desktop pics onto here? Yeah, I'd like to know that too ! My desktop changes about once a week on average. I tend to use pictures I've taken until I get bored with them (usually quite quickly) or I take a nicer one. If someone tells me how to get a screen shot saved as a picture and then put on here, I'll post my current desktop picture. Cheers FA x

This is my Desktop pic, it's a photo I took in the garden last year. I'd never seen a yellow and black Ladybird before and it just happened to spot it on a Strawberry flower. LNG I use a photo from my photo album for my PC Desktop pic, so to show it on here you just post the IMG code from Photobucket as you would any pic. Looks like JW took a photo of her PC screen, saved it and posted as you would any photo.

Nothing terribly exciting. Just a summer photo of the troughs and hanging baskets in the front garden from a few years back. I tend not to change my home desktop picture very often although the one at work usually only lasts a couple of months before I get fed up with it.

those pictures are all lovely but how did you all get your desktop pics onto here? To post a screen print of your desktop - or anything else for that matter - first look for the print screen key on your keyboard. This is usually towards the righthand side. Mine is just above the number pad... Next go to your desktop and hit the PrintScreen key. Sometimes you may also need to simultaneously press the Alt key. Next open Microsoft Paint or any photo-editing package and Right Click and paste (in Paint it appears to be Edit and Paste) which will display the image. All you need to do then is save it as a .jpg file and upload it to a photo-hosting site such as Photobucket. It's as simple as that. NB: Some photo-editing software such as PaintShopPro will allow you to import images without the need for the Print Screen key.

At the moment, this is what I have. It's a picture of the village (well, it's more like a small town really) where I live. To the left of the photo is where I went to school. The photo was taken on Boxing Day. I change my wallpaper at least once a week though so by next week, it will be something different. FA x PS - Spru - thanks for the technical help !

Chuckles,i think your ladybird could be a baby, they are that colour till they change to red I think it might be one of those Harlequin ones that are taking over the country . They are all shades from yellow through to red, and have that spot pattern, amongst many others!
