1 3/4 oz. butter.
8 oz self raising flour.
1 teaspoon baking powder.
pinch of salt
4 oz. grated mature cheddar.
I tsp. mustard powder.
3fl. oz of milk. and 1 egg beaten together.
flour baking powder and salt into mixing bowl, rub in and then stir in the cheese, mustard and beaten egg and milk, knead lightly on a floured surface, cut into wedges or circles about 1inch thick, brush with whatever milk and egg mix is left in the bowl. bake at gas mark 7 for 15 mins. enjoy.
