Thought I would show the difference between a normal snowdrop and the big one I have. It is twice as big. Not only the flower but also the leaves. The Pulmonaria are starting to flower btw.

I've just got the first flowers opening on some pulmonaria, won't be long now before they are feeding the insects. The bees have been swarming over the crocus again today, there must be a nest somewhere nearby I reckon. Quite a few ladybirds out, and there needs to be, this hellebore is covered in greenfly.

Dutchy, even those leaves look bigger, the flower is so much bigger! At the plot yesterday my clump of Tete a Tete has really grown this year. After the flowers are over a bit I'll divide them. I've taken pics and will post later.

Schyzostylis Ladygardener, they spread like mad, I'll start pulling them out when other stuff starts growing.

It needs potting on at the moment and it still has 1 flower on it too. I remember they've changed their name to Hesperantha, easier remembered I thought but not really as it turns out.

Those are smashing Tig. My reliable little species Tulips in the bottom border. Most years the slugs get at them before they open but I've been lucky this year. Some of the big daffodils have opened at the plot this week. By the bench I use at the plot. Tete a Tete will need dividing this year.

I expect there is a lovely scent when the orange is in blossom. What a beautiful sight with the mimosa!

How lovely to see the Mimosa in flower Jasmine. I've seen it advertised in so many gardening magazines but it would'nt survive here that's for sure. Even if the oranges are bitter, they look great on the bushes don't they. Some more from the garden. Tig these are your babies in bloom in the middle bed.

They've filled out well for you LG - I am so pleased I badly neglected the camellias last year, they dried out, never got fed, but a little splash of red noted - Yuletide has flowered, a bit late

I'll bet it really stands out Tig it's such a great colour. I'm delighted with your babies, so much so that I now have 24 more from Haylofts. You're to blame for my addiction.

Lovely crocus Ladygardener, and super splash of colour from your camellia Tig. There were some orange trees in blossom at the GC yesterday, the smell was amazing. Sad to see the Mimosa looking more mustard colour yesterday, it doesn't last long.
