It's almond blossom Ladygardener, you get that creamy colour with the raspberry blotch and pink with darker tones of pink. I'll post some more pictures later.

Lovely pics Barbara Tig they really do make me feel like spring is near. Pity your Corydalis turned out not like you expected but hopefully your Corydalis purple stem should have blue/mauve flowers later on in springtime if it's still doing well for you. Almond blosson Jasmine how lovely.

Wow way ahead of mine. I do get budds now at the plot which gets full sun but at home in my shade garden they are still not going for it. Mind you the snowdrops are still lovely.
I noticed a bee yesterday at the plot. Makes me glad I still have some lesser celandine growing for them and the Pulmonaria is out in full so at least the poor buzzer gets something to eat.

I used to have the blue Tig, and then suddenly I didn't.

The blue ones I've bought in the past just didn't survive either Barbara , I was hoping this one is tougher as it didn't die back all winter. If it had been blue it would have been a bonus, but it does look strong and healthy. LG does your purple corydalis keep it's leaves over winter? I had two pots growing well and planted them out, but there is no sign of either at the moment. I think I have two seedlings growing in pots near to where I was growing them on, hopefully that is what they are anyway. I'll know later. A few from today, it has been glorious out, the crocus look splendid. I took the first pic before I went to see SN this morning, and the third is the same clump after lunch when they had all opened.

Really smashing pics Tig. The leaves sleep for a while but I have some which I'm growing in a pot and it's in full leaf at the moment. The stems are a dark colour and the leaves much darker than those in your pic, I still have a little in the top border where it all got divided last year and it's just coming into leaf now.

I had a more thorough search this morning LG and I have spotted some foliage which I think is the purple one, fingers crossed!! It is really uplifting to get a bit of colour appearing isn't it RF? You can never have too many hellebores IMHO Speaking of which, I spotted two more in flower this morning, the one with splodges is quite unusual!

I love them Tig, but to buy them here - well, they cost a fortune - the one that I was given (Olaf) was nearly 18Euro and although I have looked on the web here I cannot find anywhere that sells babies... Seeds take years to flower as well, don't they Tig,??

Not that long really Rosefriend, some I've had flower in their third year, a few waited until the fourth. Fresh seed is best I've found, mine self seed in the borders. The seed isn't ripe until May/June time and some of the newer cultivars are sterile.

Whoops, no, that's not Grumpy, that's Kersen - the markings are supposed to look like 2 cherries joined by their stalk - you can make it out on the bottom right snowdrop. Grumpy...

I thought it was a strange looking 'grumpy' Jasmine, wondered if it has cheered up This just appeared in a container, all on it's own, looks like an ipheion First species tulips are out too Few more daffs, first clump are February Gold, second one is little Jetfire And also out are my self sown, tough as old boots, double stocks

Both sets of Snowdrops are great Jasmine I can see why they say the 1st lot are like 2 cherries hanging there but Grumpy is wonderful. I love the light lilac flush on the outside of your Crocus. Snap Tig I have the same Tulips and Jetfire blooming now too. Not mine but one of Ruth's Daphne she sent me a pic of. Some of the Hyacinth I've planted in the garden over the years.
