Back in February this bottlebrush got a pruning and a few month's reprieve, it has got a much better leaf colour and has just started flowering! Just realised the other bottlebrush is a weeping one, it needs some work!

How fab Jasmine. Bet you're pleased. A few for the last day of July. Several of these have opened this year, it's their best year ever. I planted the originals years ago at the plot and they're obviously very happy there. I thought my Chandos Beauty had died this winter and cut it right back. I'm delighted it has sent up some lovely shoots and this is the 1st flower, honestly it's worth waiting for, the scent is wonderful. I also have Buff Beauty but can't smell it.

What a beautiful rose Ladygardener! I'm not actually very keen on bottlebrushes but the flowers are amazing!

I think the bottlebrush looks very exotic Jasmine, I think it’s mostly grown in conservatories over here? Well certainly in the N.E.

They sell them in our local GC so I guess they should be ok in the south. The site I found the weeping bottlebrush on was trees for south Floridian gardens!
