A quick and easy bread that can be made and baked within 40/45 minutes. Anything can be added - seeds, bacon, onion, figs ...anything... We do not have Self-raising flour in Germany by the way so Plain flour is used for everything. I did it with the basic recipe to try it - very good texture and taste - definitely one to do again... This was mine and cut... This was one done with onion and bacon bits... Recipe: 350grams Plain flour 1 Packet of Baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 300ml Milk Mix all together (electric hand mixer with dough hooks) and put in a bread form (largish) or shape it with your hands and put it just on the baking tray. Top and bottom heat - 200C or Fan heat 180C for 30 minutes.

How much was in the packet of baking powder? 16 grams - I've put it on the Recipe now Missredhead,. No kneading at all - I've found a Video on You tube - all in German but you can see exactly how it is done.. I also saw that there was Cheese in the Bacon and Onion bread... just a matter of taste I suppose..

Apparently you can make your own yeast...dunno!!
100ml Beer 1 Teaspoon Sugar 1 Tablespoon Flour
Mix everything together and leave overnight at room temperature - that's it. It is the same amount as 1 cube yeast.
Isn't it going to make everything sloppy though?
