I think that was a fair result don't you, ?

Absolutely, and I think we are due some surprises along the way through this series as folk show their talents.

For the foreseeable future there will be no studio audience at the show. Only to be expected but at least they can keep it going and we'll still see the rest of the dancers.

We enjoyed the show last night, some of the costumes were great although I do think they hampered some of the dances. It was good fun 'tho. I'm not really thinking Nicola is as good as the judges seem to think she is and Caroline did'nt dance with the gusto I'd have thought she could last night either. We did love Bill and Ranvir 'tho, they were both really entertaining.
No spoiler this week since there was nobody to bring it but I would'nt be surprised if Nicola and Jason were in the bottom 2 and Jason went home.

I thought it was all wonderful, I laughed out loud at Jamie.

The spoilers are a bit all over the place this morning, never mind, the show was great and it doesn't seem to matter this year about knowing the results, it's just good to have the show.

I think Jason will be in the dance off, but you are right Jasmine, it doesn't seem to matter.

We laughed at Jamie too Barbara, he's not afraid to get into the dance is he, I did'nt know him at all before the show but he seems a right good sport.

We thought both Nicola and Jason both did so much better in the dance off.
Loved the violin music from The Kanneh-Masons and the dancing was simply beautiful, very moving.

So Rylan is self isolating for 14days after being in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid, he paid for the test himself and it was negative but of course he still has to isolate for the 14 days. He says it was someone unrelated to strictly that he was in contact with.
Katya has tested positive for covid so she is self isolating for a minimum of 14 days and she and Nicola who has tested negative but is isolating for 14 days, are now out of the competition.

Motsi will be self isolating for 14 days after making an urgent trip to Germany. She will be on the show at the weekend via zoom.
As far as I know Anton will be doing the back stage interviews for ITT tonight as Gethin is doing ITT in place of Rylan again.

Will they get to the end of the series with any couples Covid free I wonder! Wonder who Katya met up with outside the 'bubble'?

I've just heard on the news that Anton is stepping in for Motsi. This will be interesting.
Shame for Nicola but from what I've read they might all be in bubbles but they are still allowed to do what folk need to do like go shopping and so on.

Yes Anton was on ITT last night and is delighted to be judge this weekend.
Motsi did tweet that she would be in our living rooms tonight but clearly not as a judge, likely for some comments like Bruno.
I hope Katya makes a swift recovery and has no lasting effects from covid. It astounds me how she is being talked about as if she brought it on herself by doing something she should'nt have. Surely by now people should know that you can be very careful and still end up with the virus, it really is the luck of the draw sometimes unfortunately. Celebs and pros are still working, shopping, giving interviews etc... she could have picked it up anywhere.

I really enjoyed last nights show - this morning there are mixed messages about who was in the dance off but the same person being out regardless of which combination it was.

I like it too Barbara, I prefer the slightly less hysterical nature of everything especially the hog the limelight bit with Claudia where certain folk like to be the front all the time. I also like the fact that there aren't so many folk to get through each week.

I'm shocked, I didn't expect that, was it because he swore I wonder, I thought JJ's jive was the worst dance of the night, obviously people don't agree.

We loved the show on saturday, Karin and Jamie really did well. I did'nt know him at all before the show but he seems like he's having a great time. Bill and Oti were fantastic. Clara and Aljaz were great with their Charleston, it funny to think she was a little girl when she started watching it and now she's in it. I was really surprised to see Maisie and Gorka in the dance off but I really did'nt like their dance on saturday night, not the choreography or outfits, she can dance 'tho and I enjoy watching them normally. I felt sorry for Max and Diane, there's was'nt the worst dance of the night and he came across really well I thought but up against Maisie I was sure they'd all pick her to go through. I was really surprised when Shirley said she'd have saved him, did she not give Maisie more points the 1st time....however, I did read on DS that perhaps as she is a latin champ herself, she may have noticed mistakes from Maisie that we did'nt and could also have felt that Max did a lot better in the dance off than he did originally. Who knows. Anton was'nt as difficult to watch as I thought he might be.

I liked Anton although he was so like Len is some ways I was surprised he didn't mention pickling his walnuts!
There's talk on some of the Strictly FB sites that Shirley doesn't like Maisie, I don't see it myself, but folk say that Caroline doesn't like Johannes touching her and he doesn't much when you look. Most touching is led by her too. Perhaps he's just being respectful in his lovely way.

Yes there has been a lot of speculation about Caroline and Johannes not getting on but on ITT they seemed relaxed and in good form. I thought I'd enjoy her dances more somehow. It'll be good to see how she does this weekend, I do think a lot of people think the strictly experience is going to be easier than it really is. It must be very difficult to stand in front of the judges and have them point out the bad bits or mistakes in your dancing. I love Johannes and could listen to him talking all day long. His SA accent reminds me of a friend who died a few years back, he was from SA too and his voice was like music.
