A lot of young girls sing along to their favourite recordings with a hairbrush in their bedroom. This reminds me a bit of that.
Sarah Collins isn't a young girl but is the lead singer in a little known group. Covid has put a stop to their live performances
She's made several recordings in her bedroom and other rooms in her house, much as has Sophie Ellis-Bextor. She's made more since Covid. She has a reasonable following.
She sings to karaoke recordings. I like her as she appears to be able to sing anything without the usual studio enhancements and has she has a range of over two octaves.
Something many young contemporary singers haven't.
She sings a lot of "oldies."
Hard to believe this was popular 51 years ago.
This is the first one she made it three weeks ago.
Needs a big vocal range, as there's an octave change
I love this tune.
Lots more on YouTube.
