Your magnolia looks great maggy, even if it was pruned and your wallflowers are paying you back well for not pulling them up! Lovely tulips Barbara, and very lovely sunshine!

I love seeing your Mongolia maggy, . I always think it's a shame to pull up wallflower when you can get another year or 2 from them. Lovely tulips Barbara,. A few from Jenny's garden.

Lovely Ladygardener, my niece and Sister called yesterday and asked me where she could buy a magnolia stallata , I had seen one just last week in the garden Center down the road. Men’s garden is looking really established now.

It is amazing LG - very lush, so it is getting enough water while you're away. T & M strikes again, these tulips were supposed to be Avignon

T& M do their own thing again Tig, what a shame, they're lovely 'tho but not even remotely like what you'd ordered. I knew what you ment maggy, your tulips are beautiful in the sunshine. Thanks for your kind words ladies. The whole idea is to make the garden a bit less labour intensive without changing the ethos of it too much. I've just spent a few days there and am really pleased with it all.

Actually the tulips in the pots havent done well at all because of lack of rain, I have some nice purple ones but one lot dried up in bud, Im not one for watering this time of year because of the low night and morning temps.,

You're looking really well LG, that's a great photo of you. Love the vibrant pink blossom, very eye catching. The exochorda macrantha niagara I bought from Hayloft in 2018 has finally flowered, it is very slow growing.

Thanks Tig. The exochorda macrantha niagara is a beautiful shrub, I had a little google. I'd say now that it has established itself it will continue to bloom well for you and won't get too big.
