Thank you everyone, yes Barbara Jasmine it is creeping phlox, it's a few years old but most of them here are blooming, that one has been for quite a while now. It gives good colour and cover for ages and ages as does the saxifrage. Jenny has the Rhododendron is in a large container which is just the same colour as the plant, bright but I love it.

Lovely Tig, I'm still waiting for the buds to open on mine. For the first time ever I've spotted the tiny little deep red flowers on pittosporum!

We've not tried planting any Jasmine, that is the only one there is, bought last year. It and an Azalea are growing in containers for now anyhow. I think the soil is different in different parts of the garden especially with all the topsoil she has bought and what we're waiting on too. Tig your halesia carolina is beautiful, I had a little google, can you smell the scent? All the creeping phlox and saxifrage are smashing, I love aubretia as well.
