Almost half way through the year already and with the cold spring and late frosts, some things are a bit behind but others are romping away. A few photos taken in Jenny's garden.

The 1st Sweetpea have opened and smell wonderful. These are fragrantissima sown back in October.

Go placidly amidst the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

I've got two border areas dedicated to intersectional peonies Barbara, and most of the others are planted in pairs or trios, but this numpty didn't really leave enough space for expansion and they are getting a bit snug in places

They seem to be coping at the moment but need more watering when they are a bit cramped.
