Jurgen dropped his sausage rolls on the floor but still gave them to the judges to test

Yuck! In 'My Life is Murder' yesterday the lady in the lead role took the cat's milk off it and poured it on her cereals

I was pleased with the result of the final yesterday. Any one of them could have won imo...altho I felt sorry for the baker who produced a raw focaccia (I didn't think it was cooked when she took it out of the oven!)

Last year the son of a couple of my ex-colleagues got as far as the final (Josh). He's a lovely lad and has developed a lot of followers on Instagram! His parents were both biomedical scientists like me, and I went to their wedding! We rarely see each other these days and I hadn't seen Josh since he was a baby! Anyway, he did very well. The 2024 lot all seem very good. As usual I try to make some of the technical bakes...had a crack at the plaited bread wreath this week and I think that it turned out quite well.
