Jenny made these and they're absolutely delicious.
Ingredients 50g caster sugar 100g of soft brown sugar 250g of butter at room temperature 200g s.r. flour 100g chocolate chips or drops 175g porridge oats 100g chopped nuts optional
Preheat oven to 180c Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy Beat in the flour and then fold in the chocolate drops, porridge oats and mix wwell to combine
Using your hands form the mix into 18-20 balls then flatten slightly with a fork or your hand Place them on baking trays lined with parchment Leave plenty of room for the mix to spread out while cooking, we used 2 large trays Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins When done and removed from oven, they will be golden in colour, of course each oven varies a bit so they may be ready earlier Leave to settle and harden for about 10mins and then transfer to a wire rack with a fish slice, we just slid the parchment onto the wire rack
Good luck, enjoy
