This is the view of our garden from the patio steps in front of our French windows. A number of features disguise the fact that the garden is ony 85ft long.
We have a feature bed halfway down the lawn. At present it has a sambucus in flower, in a large tub surrounded by azaleas. This will get a bit of a prune after the leaves have fallen.
Later in the year it will be replaced by a mimosa in a tub of the same size. During the summer the mimosa lives on the small patio behind our shed, you can just see some of the foliage on the right edge of the photo.
