Kym is'nt on our list of those we like either Jasmine. I don't like her attitude at all and there's definitely a spark missing in her dancing. A lot of the celebs are maintaining their normal work while on the show but you'd think to hear her, she's the only one. Surely everyone knows the show is all recorded on saturday at this stage Barbara, it's hardly news. Papers just like something to moan about.

Lynsy and Janice didn't know it was all recorded on one night Ladygardener, and the paper was saying the BBC are looking for the mole, so not moaning at anything really, I didn't know they took your mobile phone away when you went in though .

It used to be live on a Sunday until Bruce couldn't manage the filming schedule due to his age also Len & Bruno were flying back & forth to the US to do that version. I think they started recording it all on the same day back in 2007/8 ish so it has been done like this for a long time now. They record Sundays show after 9pm when the voting is closed from the earlier televised show & they then know who the bottom two are. If they want a live audience they have to accept it will get leaked who was in the dance off, there has been a spoiler online for decades. I remember Fleur East as an X-factor winner many years ago. I am finding the judges scores hard to understand this series, they seem to be influenced by being pc rather than the quality of the dancing.

Barbara, I honestly thought everyone knew about it all being recorded on saturdays but obviously I was wrong. I also knew about them taking away peoples phones. As you say Tig it has been like that for about 14 or 15years and there are several spoiler groups on various platforms including fb. I agree that the BBC has to accept leaks, even some of the celebs have leaked on their twitter accounts and radio programmes in the past. I remember Fleur East on X Factor too but she was runner up although she did get signed by Simon Cowell. I think some of the judges are very inconsistent in their scoring and obviously have their favourites. We still enjoy the show 'tho.

I didn't watch back at the beginning so I didn't know it used to be on one night. Sometimes folk give it away with what they say but I don't know why it matters. Some folk like to know the result and some folk don't but unless you know where to look and actively go looking you aren't going to find a spoiler unless you want to. I like to know!

Yes I have a feeling Shirley is'nt too fond of her Jasmine. I think she's very fond of Tyler 'tho.

That seems to be the way with Ms Ballas Ladygardener, she's very lovely and OTT with the young male celebs. I know we complain sometimes but I really enjoy the show! It almost makes up for autumn setting in!

That and the bake off Jasmine, Ladygardener, make my autumn, I think we assume people have watched as long as we have and some are only just coming to watch recently, as long as we all enjoy it, that's what matters.

I've nevr watched the GBBO, did I read on here that they never have a mole to give away the results? Do they have an audience?

I agree Jasmine, Barbara, we still love the show and look forward to getting together on saturday evenings to watch it. Even if we don't previously know the Celebs we soon get to like or dislike them based on what we see. I've watched a few series of bake off a few years back but don't watch it now, Ruth and Jenny do 'tho.

Costumes and make up were amazing last night. I think a few couples are in danger this week.

Loved CRH and SB's costumes! Wonder what they will change into for 'tonight'.
Sad about whose gone this week....and sad for their pro.

Yes it is sad Jasmine especially to go out with such woefull costuming and song. Jenny was telling me a story about Bees and Halloween. Among the many legends that surround the origins of Halloween is the story of European farmers who would dress up as honey bees and go from door to door collecting sweets to mark the end of the harvest. Inspired by the hardworking bees and their toil collecting nectar and pollen all season long, the farmers seemingly created the first of the Halloween trick or treat tradition, accepting treats from willing participants and hurling eggs and rotten cabbages at the homes of those who were not. It would have been interesting if Strictly had mentioned that theme before their dance, as it was most of us had'nt a clue about what was happening.

How interesting Ladygardener, that makes more sense. Like you say, pity nothing was said as there were so many queries on social media about the choice and what it had to do with Hallowe'en.

We enjoyed last night although the marking was a bit all over the place (as ever). Kim did well, OH said she'd had to pull out of training during the week with panic attacks but I haven't heard or read that anywhere. Anyway, I don't have much time for her but she danced a storm last night.

It was one of the best dances of the night along with Helen, in my opinion Jasmine , and I'm not a huge fan of the tango, I know who went and I'm surprised.

I'm not surprised out of the 2 although since the one who was saved did her VT last week the 'she's been to stage school' crew are out in force! I'm surprised Ellie T avoided the DO as she doesn't appear to be very well known but she must have a good fan base and Tony must have an enormous fan base!

Derek read an article out to me last week, it said Tony has a fan group of 'one hundred thousand' voting for him, all Arsenal supporters of course.

OH said she'd had to pull out of training during the week with panic attacks but I haven't heard or read that anywhere. Yes that was friday's dress rehearsal, she had a panic attack and everything was stopped for a while but she was ok later. Nerves are an awful thing I think. I'm not a fan of hers either but we did think her tango last night was very good. I do think that Craig giving Ellie T a 3 was pretty mean at this stage of the contest and may well have resulted in a lot of votes going their way in sympathy. We enjoyed last night, it does seem to be a normal thing that some people are over marked 'tho.

Loved the shows this weekend. The tribute on 'Sunday' night brought a lump to my throat.
Missed the end of the 'Sunday' night show, lots on FB to say there was no dance off, did anyone see what happened?

Loved the shows this weekend. The tribute on 'Sunday' night brought a lump to my throat. Missed the end of the 'Sunday' night show, lots on FB to say there was no dance off, did anyone see what happened? Yes we watched it Jasmine, the show went on as usual with the bottom 2 being picked and spoken to by the judges, then it panned to those who got through. When they went back then to do the dance off, Tess made the announcement that because of an injury sustained on saturday night Tony was unable to do the dance off and would leave the show. It all went very well and ment that the programme was'nt rushed. We watched the Royal Legion service at the weekend, moving was'nt the word for it. I was in bits.

Thank you Ladygardener, that makes sense. I guess Tony would have been voted out if the dance off had taken place. He was a lovely gentleman!

Strictly had offered Tony a bye for this week as he was injured before hand and were going to let him opt out and go straight to Blackpool but he said no, it would'nt be fair if someone else went out and he stayed in by getting a bye. I agree, he was right not to do the dance off and accept that his time was up. Fair play to him. We enjoyed him on the show and think it was his time to go.
Looking forward to Blackpool this weekend. After seeing Ruth's fabulous photos earlier this year, it really is an amazing venue.
