Quite a hard call now.
How cute were those 2 littlies - oh my word, so sweet!

I loved the opening dance of the results show too. Those 2 children are under 10 world champions, they were smashing and really added a certain touch to the whole thing.
A good show from Blackpool, it must be difficult for the contestants at this stage to see any of them going home.

Absolutely Ladygardener, Ellie is probably the weakest but the fans love Johannes otherwise I think she'd be gone by now. That explains the children's talent, they were amazing, like little mini me's of Kai and was the main lady Jowita?

was the main lady Jowita? No it was Amy who was dancing with Kai Jasmine, with the lighting and camera work it's often difficult to say who is who but she and Kai were the main 2 dancers with the children. There has been quite a bit online on the BBC strictly official site and other places too with people not at all happy with Fleur and Vito's dance and it getting 40. To me it was more like a stage performance done at a concert rather than anything but I think it was well enough done although I did'nt like either the styling or the dance.

Ah, of course Ladygardener, I think they are both quite gentle ladies - Amy and Jowita.

Absolutely. I think Jowita is a great addition to the strictly family.
I see Kim has tested positive for covid and will miss the show this week. The BBC have said this.. The BBC website says Kym will miss this weekend, but remain in the competition.
In a statement, a Strictly spokesperson said: "Kym Marsh has tested positive for Covid-19.
"As a result, Kym and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
"Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week."

She is Ladygardener, she's lovely! Kym wasn't going to get through the show without a sick note!

Kym wasn't going to get through the show without a sick note! Alan was right on the bullet. Yes he was Ladygardener ! Really enjoyed the show last night, much prefer when it is down to this number and they are all very good or good. Loved Brown Eyed Girl but prefer Van Morison's!

I agree Jasmine, but I'm not sure the right person was voted off in the dance off, I loved Wills Charleston was really good, I thought it was the best dance of the night, I'm not sure who is going to win this time, I usually have a favourite but not this year

It's a hard call this year Barbara. Hamza is very good - apart from his Tango legs! Helen has obviously got a huge fan base although that won't keep you in if you get in the DO, Will is very good, Fleur is very good but doesn't seem to have a good fan base and Molly comes and goes week about. I'm not including Kym - she annoys me!

I always think it's difficult to predict who will will, it's hard to know really as we don't really know how the public vote is really going.
Everyone danced well last night although we did see mistakes in all their dances. I think Will surprised me most and was happy enough for him to top the board.

I have trouble dealing with cheerful Strictly Will and nasty Corrie Will/Harvey!

I haven't seen any SCD this weekend, will have to catch up later. Saw a little clip of Helen on FB - they said she'd done very well.

Helen did do very well Jasmine, I thought they all brought something to the show. I was'nt at all surprised Kim went home. 2 dances each this weekend but a lot of duplicate dances. It should be interesting but good, we have to wait until Sunday this week to see the semi finals and the result show is on monday.

That's going to be odd, I wondered why they hadn't moved SCD to BBC2 and kept the usual schedule like they've done with lots of other things but I guess they don't want to divide the audience. Sunday will do though!

For one reason or another it has been a disjointed series this year Jasmine, with the delay at first on the reveal show due to the death of The Queen and then the football. Still, next week is the final, I wonder which 4 will go through...

I didn't like Will's dance at all, it doesn't do it for me this style of ''dad dancing''. the spoiler didn't find a mole so not sure if we'll find out before the results show tonight.

I read a few spoilers and was pleased that it was all 'fake news'. There's still hope! I didn't like the way Will carried on last night after his first dance and wasn't keen on his second dance like you Barbara.

I think they all seemed to do their best last night although we did'nt like Will's CC either Barbara, nor his posture for the paso. He did'nt seem to take the criticism too well after his 1st dance did he Jasmine. You'd think being an actor he could have put on a braver face, when you think of Molly being in the dance off so often and smiling her way through it, it does kind of put him into another light I think.

I agree Ladygardener, I thought he just made his and Nancy's time with Claudia quite tense and didn't show himself in a very good light. Anyway, we've probably got the best 4 through and it will be interesting to see who wins. Personally I think Hamza is good but a bit over rated, Helen has been a real dark horse and Molly and Fleur will get lots of other offers I'm sure based on what they have done. It will be good!

I wrote my post before Helen did her show dance, she looked so amazingly confident. I felt really sorry for Gorka, he looked so sad at the end.
This is the first year I ever remember FB going into such a melt down over who won. Still, it really is a popularity contest and it was a good show. Roll on the Christmas show!

I had hoped Helen would win too, they got all my votes and I deffo thought their last dance was the best. Not been that keen at all this year, it doesn't seem to be about the quality of dancing any more, I'm all for inclusion & diversity as long as the programmes focus is about the ability to dance well.

We enjoyed watching them all last night, felt certain Helen had it in the bag but it was not to be. It's not the 1st time this has happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. Everyone deserved to be there last night and brought their own type of magic to the show. All should be proud of themselves and the hard work they put in to learn all those dances. Congratulations to Hamza and Jowita. Hopefully all the finalists will get some extra work out of their exposure on Strictly and have enjoyed the whole experience.
