Cat hates visitors, so she had a rubbish day yesterday until they had all left and she could come in and settle down on her cushion again! Today she is full of mischief, I'm sure she knows the days are getting longer again ... Off a-hunting - You can't see me .... This'll scare you Then she flew up the apple tree, still full of naughtyness And played Queen of the Castle ~~ She is having a cat-nap on her cushion again now x Tig

Laura she is a seal-point Birman (folks on here helped me identify her - the history of her arrival is on page six of this thread if you are interested It would be nice to see some photos of your 7 - or are they camera shy ;D Jen she is soooo unsociable, if anyone visits the house she is off out like a rocket, then sits on the picnic table giving them the evil eye!

My GF has a cat a bit like yours Tiggy - HATES VISITORS or anyone invading HIS SPACE
She has had a beautiful new wood stove installed - thinking how thrilled her cats (she has two English shorthairs) would be
He didnt like it at all - so that night when he climbed onto her bed her cuffed her round the head - he really did - she then cuffed him back
They are friends again now ;D

Beautiful cat Tig, do you brush her lovely coat every day? My cat has long hair and she loves it when I brush her coat. PharmerLaura good to see you, loved those pics you took of the snow. Your guys look lovely, with so many of them they must eat you out of house and home.

I brush and/or comb her when she permits lng - she is a law unto herself! I am always gentle but sometimes she gets static and we can have a bit of an arguement At least now she seems to understand ... NO CLAWS!!! NO BITING!!! Little madam x Tig

The cats are funny..we have 4-6 of them waiting on us in the morning..spaz eats on the porch..due to following me out to the car in the morning. Then the other ones eat a little bit later..minutes usually..& spaz has more with them..he is the boss cat here..& the others know it! ;D

We have 4 that are related to one another..one is the mother of the other 3..one of those 3 is a long hair real pretty gray & white male we are thinking as Spaz & that one fight when ever they are close. Spaz will stalk the one & attack..I call the long hair Fluffy.. They do steal each others food. But we make sure they all have some. The 2 kittens are fun to watch. They run around here chasing the leaves that blow around in the wind.

Sad day today. Missy went out for a wee about 7am and has not been seen since.Which is very unusual for her, she's normaly a bit nervous outside and comes back in within a few mins. We've spent all day looking, calling and walking round the estate, getting neighbours to check their sheds etc. It's very upsetting,we've only had her eight weeks and she's settled in well and become part of the family. She is chipped and I have reported her missing so I hope someone will find her and ring "petlog"

Tense time then EG - horrible when they don't come back as expected! They are a bit stupid at times though, so I hope she is OK! Mine had a panic last night because of the fireworks - I have had to chase her around the table tonight to get her to go out Fingers crossed she returns x Tig

Essexgirl, she's maybe in someone elses place being fed. My friend found out quite recently that her cat rambo had a whole other life with another family feeding etc... I do hope you find her soon and that she's ok.

Thanks for your concern ladies. I don't believe this. MISSY'S BACK! She came in through the cat flap about midnight last night and strutted around with her nose and tail in the air and not a care in the world. Totally oblivious to the awful day we had worrying about her. It was freezing here last night but she was warm and not very hungry. So it looks like she's been lording it up in someones house and not too far away as you mentioned LNG.

It's called "chatting". They imagine as if they've already got what they're watching in their mouth. Quite amusing tho!

Good job there is a pane of glass between her and the birdies then AL - she is quite lethal! I saw her leap vertically up the side of the garage because a blue tit was sheltering in the Jasmine - fortunately it flew off, but others are not always so lucky
