I think Anne Widdecombe, John Sargeant and Russell Grant were three of those LG - and all were quite amusing to watch, for a short while! Mr D wasn't that entertaining for me, but some may think him worth keeping for a bit, he could get better but somehow I doubt it.

Interesting how this year we are losing 'celebs' in order of ability rather than some surprises in the first few weeks. Slightly wacky marks though as usual!

Oh absolutely Jasmine, some of the marking is really unfair, people being penalised for very little while others are getting away with massive mistakes and no musicality at all. We are enjoying it all 'tho.

I enjoyed last night's show but there's no mole and no result yet!!!!

We enjoyed it too Jasmine, there are loads of rumors about who is in the dance off but as you say, no mole and no results.

Think Dave Thorp came up with the result in the end...lots of upset Strictly fans about but it's a popularity contest really isn't it and a celeb's fan base is going to make a huge difference.

I used to vote twice using Nat's BBC log in as it comes up automatically along with mine...or it did...he's obviously changed it since he moved out. When I told him I only had 3 votes now he said 'That's 3 too many!'

When I was up at my house I always voted too and used Jenny's BBC a/c as well as my own. Now 'tho, we can't vote but it's ok. Yes thank goodness for Dave Thorpe, hopefully there will be a mole this coming weekend. I thought the professional dance last night was great and a lovely change from their normal group dances.

Lots of fuss out there about Adam going over Angela R.

I suppose you have similar issues to the ones we have in Spain from Ireland Ladygardener, we can't watch anything on Amazon and to get iPlayer or ITVX you have to use a proxy. Folk who live out there all the time have satellite dishes to pick up UK telly - don't know how that works.

You're right Jasmine, we can't get iPlayer although as you say, we could use a proxy. Shame I can't just type in my tv licence number or something to be able to get it but nope that's not an available option. The sky package we have here allows us a lot of channels 'tho so we do get the BBC and UTV shows etc...

I think the judges have been overmarking Angela R up until this week. I totally get that she's 79 years old and is wonderful for doing this at her age but I don't think allowances should be made for her whilst people with quite severe disabilities were not given any allowances for being able to move in certain ways etc... if you know what I mean. I'm not implying that any of the previous celebs with disabilities have asked for allowances to be made but if the judges ignore stiffness and lack of movement like they have with Angela R then they should also ignore lack of movement when the likes of Johnny Peacock MBE who had a blade following amputation below his knee and JJ Chambers with all his injuries following that IED could'nt move as well as celebs who had no disability problems.

We enjoyed the show from Blackpool last night. Over the years we've been disappointed after all the lead up to it but we were'nt last night. Some of the costumes left a lot to be desired but overall everyone danced very well. I actually sat up and waited for the spoiler for the 1st time as someone on DS always gets us information as it's happening, i.e. A&B are in the D/O and C&D are joining them.

We missed last night's show as we had a facetime call with our friends that went on for an hour and a half! Looking forward to this evening's show so I can catch up. Found out who was in the DO and who is out on FB this morning - don't think I could stay awake to find out the results on the night Ladygardener!

Jasmine, the results form the Blackpool show come in fairly early usually. They were in just before 11pm It's not something I would usually do at all. Hope you enjoyed the show.

I didn't know that Ladygardener but I usually fall asleep over my Kindle at 9.30'ish so still no hope!

Angela R was very gracious and poor Bobby can't have a huge fan base for him to have been in the dance off.

quite possibly but I also think perhaps a lot of people may have voted for Nigel as he was in the bottom 2 on the leader board and he looked really annoyed with himself for making so many mistakes... I think it was a good week for Angela R to go home, she did very well to get to Blackpool and she will be on the tour as well so a nice bit of work coming her way too.

Normally I'm in bed reading my kindle around 9.30-10pm and sometimes earlier but I knew there was a mole and I was'nt tired.

I read that AR had just started filming a new series of Rip Off Britain so had very little time to practise this past week.

I think you might have been right about Nigel Ladygardener, he doesn't seem to be popular with the judges though.

Yes I'd read that about Angela R too, it was good for her that she went out on a high.

I don't think that Shirley likes Nigel anyhow for some reason, the tone of her voice seems to change as she was talking to him over the weeks.

The Christmas Strictly list is out: Dan Snow, Sally Nugent, Jamie Borthwick, Danny Cipriani, Tilly Amartey and Keisha Buchanan.

The dance list is Dan and Nadiya, Sally and Graziano, Jamie and Nancy, Danny and Jowita, Tillie and Neil and Keisha and Gorka.

It was a good show last night, shed a tear over Bobby's VT (think that's what the fillers are called). His Dad is so proud of him!

Looking forward to the DO tonight, don't really want anyone to go now but someone has to.

I was really glad to see Bobby acknowledge his Dad in the VT. We enjoyed the show, it's a shame at this stage that anyone has to go home. I was a bit surprised at the bottom 2 last night but they were awkward dances. We often don't watch the results show any more as we always know the spoiler and getting the 3 of us together to watch it can be difficult.

I only watch it because I love the little slot with the judges!

Sad to see Angela go but like you say Ladygardener it's hard to see anyone go now as they are all good in their own way.

It's such a shame that Nigel had to withdraw today with rib injuries. As we're so close to the final he does'nt get a bye even if he was fit enough for next week which he's unlikely to be with a rib injury anyhow. We enjoyed him on the show.

The show went well last night and it was lovely to see Nigel and Katya watching their best bits and giving the interview. It might settle the stories on social media a bit. Everything from "it's Katya's fault" to "there's nothing wrong with him, he just knew he'd be in the bottom 2 so left". (eye roll)
Layton and Nakita were fabulous we were delighted they finally got their 40.

You could tell from Craig's face that he was going to get out his 10 paddle...at last!!

Yes Jasmine, they certainly added a bit of light fun to the night and it was a good show, everyone seemed quite relaxed knowing there was no dance off. To be honest I just scroll on by a lot of the rubbish on sm but I did see some and heard of others unfortunately. Fair play to Layton for keeping his head above the trolls etc.. and I have to say, Nikita has been a super partner for him this year.
