Well the old tank has gone only to be replaced with a smaller, more manageable aquarium. This 20 gallon tank, measuring 30" x 15" x 12" will house nothing but guppies (apart from a trio of very small pygmy corydorus catfish). However, there is a special type of guppy called an Endler guppy which is a very similar but prettier version of the wild guppy. I've just bought a few males and despite lacking the large gaudy tails of the guppy, the Endler is a very pretty fish. Anyway, here's some pics. I have about 12 guppies/Endlers now and yesterday i heard the splashing of little fins when i think just about every female in my tank gave birth....i've got hundreds of babies now !!!....no wonder they call the the millions fish. This was the tank last week when i set it up Set up now with plants and slate One of my Endlers with some babies. To guage the size of the fry...the Endler is max 1" long An ickle baby

Looks good, Andy. With all those babies, you'll need a bigger tank!! Keith

Ditto the bigger tank. You can't send them in the post unfortunately. They are very pretty.

Quick update. tank has been looking good although i've been losing a lot of fish. Most guppies are so weak genetically these days that they are prone to so many diseases...in particular, guppy disease. Still got loads of babies and hopefully things will settle down and i can try to find some locally bred fish. Here's a pic i've just taken

That is a shame, Andy. I presume it wasn't New Tank Syndrome? Can you claim off the shop you got them from, if not?
