two girls: Saint Bernard 2 years old (Teddy) Westie 5 years old (Molly) They are great pals but the Westie is the boss.

How do you manage to keep her so clean and tangle free I know there is a lot of work looking after them. I would love an Afghan.She is a beauty!

I can't see the piccies Robin, but Jenny Didi is divine! I remember the first time I saw an afgan - it was loping along with it's owner who was jogging, and I wanted one so much! I was only about 5!!!

Didi is my fourth Afghan - they take a lot of grooming - I have to do about 20 mins each night otherwise they matt dreadfully I wanted one too when I was a little girl so I knit one out of white wool and dragged it round with me everywhere - dont tell anyone will you Plocket jenny x

I won't tell a soul Jenny - your secret is safe with me. They look like such relaxed cool-dude sort of dogs and I love the way they sort of lope along rather than run. Very elegant dogs! I can't imaging having to do that much grooming though.

The grooming part is OK but my big problem is slobber.I reckon if Dulux could find out exactly what the slobber was they would make a fortune.The stains never come out of clothes.So now I have walking clothes: rain proof pants.........

The hair on Afghans is actually wool and it smells lovely, until wet They do a sort of trot instead of a walk and have to keep up a fast pace with them jenny x

Yes OMS my Afghan does have a vanilla biscuity smell about her - just given her a big munchie Am still giggling about the cylinder ;D ;D ;D
