Today I have been looking after Alfie, a mini Dachsy, and wanted to post a pic of him cos he's so cute! He's been a little sweetheart, though the cat does not agree, and has not been seen since Alfie arrived this morning, which is a shame cos today was a trial run towards having him for a weekend. We've had lovely walks. He's so funny, marches along in a very determined manner, hardly any stop-and-sniffing, and we had a lovely afternoon snuggling on the sofa.

Hi Jenny, I'll give him big hug when I see him again, but don't know when cos he is my OH's ex-wife's dog. Still half OH's dog really I s'pose. He is def still Alfie's Dad and he screams with ecstacy and rolls all over the floor when he sees him!!!! (That's Alfie who screams, not OH! ;D,sounds like he's being murdered!!) He's a little diamond luv 'im

Give the cats time NO, they will soon be back. My 3 have had to adjust to Jeffrey and one of them insists on getting his ears washed and won't leave him alone till its done The other 2 just keep out of the way until dinner time, then they soon forget he's there.

I don't think your cats can be as weird and antisocial as my one, JL. Though he lived rough for first 2 years of his life, that was 8 years ago and he's still a bag of nerves! Every morning he lays just inside the open door, then when the Postie comes he shoots out (you'd think in would make more sense. ) at top speed, right under his feet! And runs to hide behind the shed. He has even crashed into Postie's legs before now. He's gonna have him over one day!!
