She's a little darling Plocket, particularly like the kitten photo - but dont we all? She seems very comfortable with her lovely necklace and is clearly 'at home' with all things gardening by the look of it. Thankyou for digging them out for me

She still is a little darling and the vet always says that she looks about 5 years old, until he checks her teeth! She's very sociable and loves being with us whether it's in the house or in the garden, but she's not a great one for being fussed. She chooses if she wants to sit on a knee and hates being picked up. It's a pleasure to show her off Shrubrose

Sounds a bit like my Holly in temperament. She certainly doesn't look 15. Wish I could age so well

I've had her longer than I've had my husband or my daughter!!! ;D She is lovely but she's my second cat - I got Poppy when I bought my own flat but M&D gave me my first cat when I was about 12. She lived until she was 18 and was totally different - she was a selfish, stuck-up little madam but I still loved her

Hi Plocket, yes I've 'posted' Holly and her (sadly, no longer with us) sister, Missy. Holly is camera shy, Missy wasn't.

Magnificat - didnt think she was 15 Plocket and the necklace is lovely LP I used to dress my cat up in my dolls clothes - he didnt mind and quite enjoyed the fuss - then I would drive him round in my dolls pram - he was called Smutty Bless him - my first pet

I'll go and have a look at your piccies Shrubrose She IS cute Aprilaydee - remind me to find a rather out of focus piccy of her watching OH and I having our tea!!!!! LP has a love/hate relationship with Poppy although it's mostly love. They cuddle and LP strokes Poppy a lot, but she doesn't want Poppy to sit on her because she's seen how Poppy sticks her claws into my jeans Poppy goes to LP quite a lot for attention because she knows she'll get it Smutty - what a cute name My first cat was Emmy - short for Emerald because all the cats the owner had were named after gemstones. Emmy's mother was Crystal, and she had brothers called Jasper and Jet.

She is lovely Plocket. She reminds me so much of my cat, who is now no longer with us, different eyes, but otherwise very alike. His name was Toseland Montgomery Dave, but we called him Toby [or Dave if we felt like it] ;D My best friend for the first 15 years of my life was a tailless tortoiseshell called Bimbo!

Jonah, you can call a cat Toby. Fine. But you cannot call a cat Dave!!! I don't know why, it just doesn't sound right! ;D ;D

Jo was my best friend she was. I brought her home as a kitten from my sister's house when I was at primary school and she went AWOL when she was about 13 and I was in my mid-late teens.
No I still haven't found my bank card but I've got a new one now so all's good.
Plocket, don't they look so cute when they're trying to get something off you? LOL Shadda can turn into an even more gorgeous boy when I'm cooking tea.

Emmy was lovely but didn't want to move into my flat with me when I left home They look GORGEOUS when they are begging for something - so like the cat in Shrek!!! Poppy tries to climb up the worktops when we are cooking but I think she's loosing her sense of smell because she can't smell the difference between garlic and meat these days!!! ;D

Plocket, didn't you know garlic is addictive? Just like cats are ;D BTW, she's pleading with you, pleading 'oh mum, er you do know I'm here, dont you?'

Hehehe! I'm addicted to garlic but I'm not sure the cat is ;D She gets plenty of cuddles from the whole family, but she's so good at making out she's suffering or hard done by
