I didn't spot this earlier. I'm glad Jazz is on the mend, but I'm so sorry to hear what happened to her, poor little love. That must have been so distressing for both of you. I wrote to my MP a while back regarding glass and rubbish everywhere. I think it's a disgrace! I was even thinking of petitioning for glass bottled drinks not to be consumed in public places, but I'm sure there are far too many complications for that to work. Hope she's fully back to health soon Susie.

Thanks Jonah, I've passed yours, and everybody elses cuddles onto Jazz...........she is quite overwhelmed Hopefully, I can get the local Council on my side (and other dog owners too). All I'm asking is that they provide bags, gloves etc and a bit of moral support. ! S x

Oh Susie I have only just seen this Poor Jazz! I hope she ( and you) have got over the shock and she is now recovering. Unfortunately we have a similar situation here but easier to see as there isn't any long grass, and the added bonus of careless fishermen leaving their crap behind. My neighbour and I go out quite often being 'Wombles' and picking up after the yobs who spoil it for everyone. What is it with people today? Big hugs to both you and Jazz! LLx S x

Should be a 'cinch' Susie. Shouldn't be at all painful. They have these clip removers that release them. The difficulty will be keeping her still whilst it's done! Good luck.

S x I've just caught up with this thread S - poor Jazz!! OH had some staples removed from his knee a few weeks ago, he worried needlessly about the procedure though.

Hi SS Sorry to hear about Jazz and you - I hope you are both on the mend soon. While on holiday recently I picked up loads of glass on the beach - you would think they had more sense. Hope everything goes well with Jazz's recovery. - Hugs for Jazz.

Thanks for asking Shrub The clips came out fine, after she'd been held down by two nurses and my OH . She is such a wimp S x
