Hi Susie, mad aren't they? I have only second hand experience of springers. But wouldn't you want to be one in your next incarnation? Talk about a zest for life. They have it in spades.

Oh what a lovely time was had by all - you are soooooooooo lucky Susie to have a dog you can let off the lead to run on the beach, swim and not run off

When we got Eric into the sea, we had to get in there first up to our thighs, he swam a little bit, stopped, turned around and swam back until he could stand up again and then stood there whining.

How lovely Susie, We always had springers before we came to France, such a wonderful breed. Our longest living one was called Morph and he died at the age of 17. The house used to back onto the Trent and Mersey canal in Staffs,in the hot weather Morph used to take to jumping in and then run all round the house shaking! Oh the mess Now the children are married with homes of their own guess what breed of dog they have?? Our present dog is a rescued French hunting dog,she took a while to settle down but now is very much part of the family. Please keep the photos coming db
