Not exactly pets (though one was a temporary one) but a few nice ( and one nasty) cat pics from my holiday in Kos. The local "Big Daddy" tom-cat. No wonder all the girls fell for him! The apartments resident, Crystal, at home in the bar. Competition was fierce to have her sleeping in your room. And one poor little soul who was not so lucky . I sobbed all through my lunch when I saw it, and gave it nearly all my fish. His leg was so badly injured but he (she?) was such a brave little thing. The local Cat Rescue were trying to catch him so they could operate, but he was so agile on only 3 legs (and not tempted by food cos of people like me). They got him before I came home and hopefully by now he will have had it amputated and is being looked after ( I gave them as much as I could afford). It's not a nice pic because it seems he may have got his front leg caught (maybe in a trap) and all the skin was ripped down and was just a big mangled blob round his foot. I'm crying just thinking about him. but at least I know something was done to help him.

Oh what lovely moggies, and the poor little kitten. I'm so glad they were able to catch him and help him - bless!

What a lovely little fellow he is NO. Despite his injury he looks like he's got spirit. I always find it amazing (and heartbreaking) what animals are capable of tolerating.
