Does anyone else have a dog like mine who cries to go out and watch the fireworks. She loves them, not a bit afraid, which is good. We watched a display on Saturday and she enjoyed every minute, not even bothered by the loud bangs, there was also a Jack Russell there who was the same, everytime a firework went into the sky he was jumping as if trying to catch it. My friends dog is the opposite, they have to give him sedatives he is so frightened. CJ

My dog's typical of the species I'm afraid. Scared Sh****less of fireworks. In fact there've been a few around tonight and he's cowering beside me and trying to get into the @pooter desk! I know you're not s'posed to comfort them as it allegedly makes them think you're scared too, but, he's so sweet and does need comfort!!

Our dogs don't seem that bothered. Then again, both tellys are on so loud I'll be surprised if they can even hear them. I'm sure my OH and Dad are going deaf....
