Hello all
I sowed some borlotti's a few weeks ago but they just seemed to disintigrate, I realised I may have overwatered them so a re-sowed them and only watered lightly once when I put them in their pots to germinate.
They all came up this time but some appeared to be damaged. All I have is stalks with no leaves. It looks like the leaves while forming had been damaged inside the bean (cotyledons??).
Anyone else came across this before?
Paul

Hi Paul, had the same problem with some early sown blue lake, put it down to sowing too early and seeds sitting in cold compost - have re-sown. I'm also growing berlotti for the first time, I started mine off in a heated propogator and have planted some out even though its a bit soon (I'll probably regret it) - looking forward to the bright coloured pods ;D
